What motivated you to join the PAWS Chicago
Marathon team? Running a Marathon is something I have thought
about for a while, and I currently have more time to train than I have in the
past. Running for PAWS and the animals they save will spur me on!
Is this your first marathon?
YES!!!
On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
I've gotten this far...the end is within my grasp!
What obstacles/fears/challenges are you overcoming
by running the marathon? Fear of failure and injury.
Why PAWS Chicago? I am a life-long
dog lover and know the power of pet love. PAWS does a wonderful job of saving
pets by making promoting pet adoption in creative ways, and making it accessible
to more people.
How did you find out about the PAWS Chicago
Marathon Team? I saw an ad in The Red Eye, which I never pick
up. The ad spoke to me and I felt I picked up the paper to see this opportunity
to help PAWS.
