What motivated you to join the PAWS Chicago
Marathon team? I have a dog
(Bacchus) who has been in my care for a year and a half and he has positively
impacted my life.
Is this your first marathon?
Yes
On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
Not sure yet. Any suggestions?
What obstacles/fears/challenges are you overcoming
by running the marathon? The longest race I've run has been a
half-marathon and I was gasping for air at the end. I know the training for this
will be long and grueling - therein lies my challenge.
Why PAWS Chicago? Because of my pet
I make time to cuddle, to think about animal psychology, to take long walks, to
take long runs, to mingle with other pet owners. He can't organize with the
other pooches to raise funds for less fortunate creatures. He's so social,
if he could, I'm sure he would. Bottom line: we owe it to them.
