What motivated you to join the PAWS Chicago
Marathon team? I'd adopt every homeless pet if I could. Since I
only have room for one- I figured that raising money to help the rest was the
next best thing!
Is this your first marathon?
This is my second marathon. I ran Chicago in 2007.
On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
That I've already finished 20 - so how bad can the last 6 be?
What obstacles/fears/challenges are you overcoming
by running the marathon? The 2007 Chicago marathon was my first
marathon so my only goal was to finish. In 2008 (weather permitting)- I would
like to run for a better time. There's no more rewarding feeling than crossing
that finish line and realizing what you just accomplished- especially if you
happen to raise money for a great cause along the way.
Why PAWS Chicago? Any organization
that provides homeless pets with safety and shelter, no
matter what age, is a worthy cause in my book.
