What motivated you to join the PAWS Chicago
Marathon team? Last year we adopted Tut from PAWS and he
has brought so much happiness to our lives. Just knowing that there are so many
animals just like Tut out there in this world that need a home motivates us to
participate in this team. We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to
adopt such a loving, playful and handsome kitty!
Is this your first marathon? This
is our 3rd Marathon but first Marathon running for PAWS.
On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
On mile 20, we will be thinking only 6.2 left to go. . . and looking forward to
a cheeseburger & beer!
What obstacles/fears/challenges are you overcoming
by running the marathon? Our biggest challenge is keeping up
with the training schedule. For the past 2 Marathons our training started pretty
late and we were not as prepared. Now that we are running for such a great
cause, we know we will be motivated to train properly!
Why PAWS Chicago? The fact that
PAWS Chicago envisions a no-kill Chicago in the future is enough for us to
choose the PAWS Chicago Marathon Team! We want to contribute to this vision and
running the Marathon will be one way where we can strive to help PAWS Chicago
achieve this remarkable goal!
