What motivated you to join the PAWS Chicago
Marathon team? I was deciding on which cause I would like to run
for. I saw the ad in the Red Eye, and just knew right away that I wanted to be
apart of this. I have a dog myself and treat him like a member of the family.
Is this your first marathon? This
will be my 3rd Chicago marathon and my 4th overall
On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
Having my husband riding his bike right beside me giving me encouragement and
my family at the end. And knowing when I get home, Piwo will be there waiting
for me with a big sloppy kiss!
What obstacles/fears/challenges are you overcoming
by running the marathon? none that I can think of
Why PAWS Chicago? It breaks my
heart knowing what other animal shelters do to their unadopted animals. Knowing
that PAWS is a no kill shelter is great. If I had the room I would adopt a
friend for my dog!
How did you find out about the PAWS Chicago
Marathon Team? Reading the Red Eye, the ad just grabbed my
attention right away!
