PAWS Chicago’s 36-Hour Adopt-a-Thon Finds Homes for 125 Homeless Pets

THANK YOU to everyone who came to PAWS Chicago’s Adoption Center during the 36-Hour Adopt-a-Thon! When the event kicked-off at 11:00 a.m. on June 21, the Adoption Center was bustling with adopters who met their new best furry friend(s). And by the end of the event, an amazing 125 cats, dogs, kittens and puppies found their forever homes.

This life-saving event could not take place without the tireless work of our volunteers! Special thanks goes out to each and every volunteer who gave of their time – and perhaps a little sleep – to help save the lives of homeless pets. We would also like to thank the staff and veterinarians who provided medical treatment and care to ensure the animals would be guaranteed life, and the members or our community who opened their hearts and homes to a homeless pet. Together, your support made a life-saving difference in the lives of these animals!

Congratulations to all of the new happy families who were united at PAWS Chicago!

Thank you to Richard Chen and Sarah Peters for taking some of our wonderful adoption photos!

Special thanks to Sabrina Nizzi for dog and cat videography.

Additional thanks to Sebastian Sparenga Photography, Caitlin Lisa, Heather Haseley, Dan Kasberger, Jennifer Girard, Malia Rae Photography, Richard Chen, Oscar Mendez, and Von Buzard for event and animal photography used on this Web site.
