PAWS Chicago is thrilled to celebrate the 20,000th adoption of a homeless pet at its Adoption & Humane Center on Saturday, October 20. It was love at first sight for Elizabeth who welcomed Nali, a one-year-old Puggle, into her home.
“Finding a loving home for our 20,000th homeless pet is a significant accomplishment for both PAWS Chicago and our community,” said PAWS Chicago Founder, Paula Fasseas. “Through our state-of-the-art Adoption Center, spay/neuter, shelter medicine and volunteer programs, PAWS Chicago is raising awareness about the tragic reality that homeless pets face in our community and is implementing solutions to save more lives. This is an important step in our mission to building a No Kill community and transforming animal welfare in Chicago.”
Congratulations to Elizabeth and Nali!!
