Sugar Plum's Story
Scarlett (we renamed Sugar Plum) is doing great! She loves running and being outside - including in the snow - and playing with our neighbor's dogs. We're still trying to teach her 'personal space', but we're hoping it will come as she gets older.
I included a few photos for a sort of before/after - the first one was just a few days after we brought her home, and the last one is just from a few days ago - to show how much she's grown. Not too much, but it's a little noticeable. She definitely feels bigger when we pet her head or hold her paws.
She LOVES getting up on our computer chairs and laying in them, especially since she's not allowed up on the couches any more. And she learns quickly as well. We only decided that we were going to keep her off the couches less than a week ago, and already she's getting used to the idea. The last photo is her on her bed, with all her toys around as usual - we can't seem to keep them in the box.
We did get her into a few training classes at Creations Dog Training Center, and she completed her puppy training I at the end of fall of last year. She's doing well on her training, and we discovered from a general agility course that she LOVES the agility equipment and can't get enough running around and doing new things! We were able to get her into the agility just a week or two after they started and she has so much energy!
She's been a great dog to have with us here, and we're grateful that we crossed paths with PAWS
