Hello, I'm Simms

Our new family member has adjusted well. He's seems happy and comfortable!

Simms's Story

We have changed his name from Simms to Finn. Finn is quite smart and already responds to his new name. He even sits, stays and comes when called. He has filled out and gained 4 pounds in 2 weeks. His energy level seems to be boundless after his treatment.

Finn is already enrolled in the PAWS "Polite and Playful Puppy Class." Hopefully, puppy training will teach us how to reduce this behavior. Finn is getting a hang of potty training. We have been working tirelessly to get him outside every 3 to 4 hours so he doesn't have accidents in the house. We also hired a dog walker from Home Alone to walk him throughout the day to help with the potty training.

We have given him all sorts of toys to reduce destructive behavior. He currently enjoys chewing his T-Rex Nylabone toy and his new deer antler. We'll see how long those last. We have learned plush toys and anything not made of rope or indestructible silicone doesn't stand a chance against his razor sharp shark teeth.

Finn is going to be a great dog. We just want to be able harness his energy in a positive and fun way. We are committed to training Finn throughout his life. He will be enrolled in the various training classes offered by PAWS to keep him happy and engaged!
