Geoffrey's Story

It's been going great, and he has settled in nicely. He now goes by the name of "Q". He has been checked up, and is healthy and happy. His daily routine includes a long morning walk, followed by a couple hours of staring out the window storefront at my office. He gets 3-4 walks a day, he loves car rides, and he loves to be by the window whenever possible whether its at home, in the car, or at the office. He had aggression issues towards bigger dogs, but we've been working on it and he is getting better. Despite his file describing him as extremely aggressive towards children, he doesn't seem to be bothered by them at all- in fact he is interested and meeting them. For now, I keep him away from kids and crate him when kids visit my home. It is my inclination to believe that his previous owner may have either had a child who was rough with him, or perhaps used the "aggression" thing as an excuse to return the dog. In any case, we are erring on the side of caution. He is completely house trained and hasn't had any accidents since I brought him home.  We are planning to take a class soon to work on some basic commands and obedience- although he is a great dog and very well behaved already, he only obeys commands when treats are present. I hope you enjoy the attached photos. Thanks for being a great organization and thanks for connecting me with a great animal! I promise to keep him well for the rest of his years.
