PAWS Chicago Found Homes for 141 Pets at the Spring Adopt-a-Thon!

One of the 141 perfect matches made at PAWS Chicago's 36-Hour Spring Adopt-a-Thon.

On Friday, June 8, 2012, PAWS Chicago kicked-off its 36-Hour Spring Adopt-a-Thon where homeless cats, dogs, puppies and kittens began the search for their forever homes. The life-saving event, which continued until 11:00 p.m. on May 9, gave these wonderful pets a second chance at life. In total, PAWS Chicago found loving homes for 141 pets!

The success of PAWS Chicago’s 36-Hour Adopt-a-Thon is a testament to our community coming together to help homeless pets.  We would like to thank the volunteers who gave their time, the staff and veterinarians who provided medical treatment and care to ensure the animals would be guaranteed life, and the members or our community who opened their hearts and homes to a homeless pet. Together, your support made a life-saving difference in the lives of these animals!

Congratulations to each of the new happy families!!
