Meet Ms. Pepper.  A very sweet, shy little girl with a heart of gold.  Pepper takes her time getting to know new faces but once she decides you¹re okay she gives you her unconditional love.  Pepper has two sisters, Pippi and Junebug, which she loves dearly.  The three of them are very attached; especially Pepper, who’s world revolves around her siblings.   Once Pepper warms up to you, she’ll be asking for back rubs and will st-rrrrree-tch out for them.  Pepper has mastered ‘the chase’, quick to pounce on anything that moves.  Her favorite toys are anything she can chew…and loves to wrestle with her sisters (a bit of a tomboy!). You’ll find Pepper sitting next to her sister’s on the window sill, observing and chatting about all the activities they see outside.  Sweet girls!

 A little note:  across the board, rescue groups have a harder time finding homes for black cats and dogs.  Please consider adopting Pepper, or one of our other black beauties…you’ll be doing double the good: adopting a homeless cat,  and loving one who may have been overlooked due to the color of her coat.  (thank you!)
