Hi, my name is Archie!!  I am about two years old and I definitely started life as someone’s pet, but I was either lost or abandoned.  While fending for myself outdoors, I somehow sustained a bad injury to my tail.  By the time kind people found me and took me to the doctor, the wound was so badly infected my tail had to be amputated.  I guess you could call me a man-made bobtail?  Happily, I’ve fully recovered from my surgery and I am ready to find my forever family.

So, here’s the situation.  I DO NOT get along with other cats. Therefore, I will need to go to a home where I am the only cat.  My rescuers think my aversion to other kitties must have something to do with having to defend myself while living on the streets, and/or the event that left my tail injured, but I’m keeping my reasons to myself. However, I LOVE people, and am very playful!!!  I like to play with balls and I am a great climber. My rescuers say I really act more like a dog than a cat.
