Sign up for the PAWS Chicago Youth Volunteer Program
PAWS Chicago's Youth Volunteer Program is the program where children between the ages of 12 and 17 can volunteer with a parent or legal guardian to help homeless pets together. To learn about all our Youth Volunteer opportunities, click here. Below is the sign up for the following three volunteer opportunities:

Adoption Center Preparation Team
As part of the Adoption Center Preparation Team, you will help clean rooms, socialize animals, assist with administrative tasks, and prepare the Adoption Center for opening each day. The help you provide through this position enables PAWS Chicago to maintain a clean and safe environment for our homeless animals. New to the Adoption Center Preparation Team Role? You must sign up for the first shift from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. so you can attend the orientation before starting.

Welcome Center Host
Welcome Center Hosts assist guests when they first enter the Adoption Center doors. Hosts are there to answer questions and help direct people through the facility. New to the Welcome Center Host Role? You must sign up for the first shift from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. so you can attend the orientation before starting.

Pet Food Bank Attendant
The Pet Food Bank uses donated items to provide emergency assistance to families facing unemployment, foreclosure, or other financial crises, thus enabling them to keep their pets. Volunteers answer phone calls and emails regarding the Pet Food Bank, register people for the program, organize donations, and pack and distribute supplies to Pet Food Bank customers (Volunteer shifts for Pet Food Bank Attendants are only available on Saturdays).
