The 15th Annual Fur Ball is one of Chicago's premier pet-friendly black-tie galas and the most important evening of the year for Chicago's homeless animals. Hosted at the legendary Drake Hotel, over 700 glamorous and compassionate animal lovers and their canine companions will walk the red carpet, enjoy cocktails, dinner, dancing, a dog spa, and live & silent auctions!

Guests will enjoy complimentary open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the evening in addition to a dinner buffet. You can also enjoy our open-air photo booth, get an illustration drawn with you and your pet, enter our raffle, bid on some great auction items and dance the night away! Goody bags will also be given out at the end of the evening that will include treats for you and your pet. For General Admission tickets, seating is on a first come first serve basis, at any table that is not reserved for a sponsor.
Short answer is NO. Once you purchased a ticket through our website, over the phone or through the mail, your name has been added to our registration list. You do not need to bring any proof of purchase with you to the event. Simply check in at the registration tables when you arrive. If you plan to purchase multiple tickets online and know your guest’s names, please complete the guest list at the time of purchase. Otherwise, we will follow up prior to the event to collect your guests’ names so they can be added to the registration list as well.

Although children are allowed at Fur Ball, there will be an open bar serving alcoholic drinks with a majority of our guests being over the age of 21 years old. We encourage everyone to use their own discretion when it comes to bringing children to the event.
When it comes to pets, we would love for you to bring along your dog to the event. Dogs do require tickets to the event though - you can purchase dog tickets online for $100 per dog. We do ask that dogs that attend the event are well behaved around other dogs, crowds, and music. The dog ticket includes a dog dinner buffet, the dog spa, and of course all the fun activities and goodies that humans can enjoy as well.

We cannot put on our events without the help of volunteers! We do ask that you are an active PAWS Chicago volunteer that has attended an orientation before volunteering. Tickets for this year's event are sold out and we will NOT be selling tickets at the door. If you wish to still support the event, you can enter the raffle drawing, bid in the silent auction, or make a donation to the event. All of these options are available on our main Fur Ball event page at pawschicago.org/furball. Thank you for your support!
This is a black tie event so please dress accordingly. Guests typically wear long gowns, tuxedos or other nice formal wear. You’re welcome to bring your dog dressed in formal wear as well!
Valet parking is available for Fur Ball guests at the Drake Hotel for a discounted rate of $26.
Even if you are unable to attend the event on Friday, November 18th, there are several ways you can still participate:
- Enter our raffle! You do not need to be present to win one of our great raffle prizes. For more information and to purchase your tickets, please check out our raffle website! The raffle website will be available in late September.
- Participate in the silent auction! Supporters not attending the Fur Ball may bid on silent auction items from their smartphone or computer starting two days prior to the event on November 16th until the auction closes at 10:00 p.m. on November 18th.
- Make a monetary donation to the event here. Every dollar counts towards saving more lives!
