Freddie

Freddie was a forlorn puppy with a broken ankle, housed in an Arkansas shelter when we traveled there to assist with the hurricane relief effort. With thousands of pets lost and abandoned in the aftermath of the hurricane, we knew that we had to help. Freddie was in the first group of animals that we brought north.

We cleaned and re-splinted Freddie’s injury, then nursed him back to health. He was quickly adopted by a wonderful woman and is now living happily with her and her cocker spaniel.
