Scrappy

Scrappy is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was transferred to PAWS Chicago from another shelter and is a happy and energetic dog that desired lots of exercise and training. This enthusiastic boy loves to play and is enthusiastic and friendly.

Adopters Lauren and Kris saw Scrappy were taken with Scrappy’s friendly demeanor and good looks and moved forward with the adoption process. Scrappy’s introduction to their current dog, Heidi also went wonderfully.

According to Lauren and Kris, “We are happy to say that Scrappy is doing well and is a healthy and happy dog. Within the first few months of bringing him home we had a tornado, a flood, and a two week period without power. Fortunately we all bonded together. Scrappy and Heidi are best friends and enjoy going on walks and car rides and playing catch and Frisbee. They also love running in the field behind our house and swimming at the lake. Scrappy is even learning how to do some new tricks!

Scrappy is a great dog and has an unbelievable amount of patience and is well mannered. He is always happy to greet us at the door when we return home and just loves to be a part of everything we do – especially sleeping in bed with us at night! We love him!”
