Carson

Carson is a handsome and sweet Labrador Retriever-Pit Bull Terrier in pursuit of his forever home! Weighing in at just less than 50 lbs., Carson was found outside as a skinny stray and turned into Animal Control. He waited for days for his owner to claim him, but when no one did, Carson was transferred to PAWS where he is excitedly awaiting his new family!

This dog-social guy gets along swimmingly with other friendly dogs. He does tend to get jealous if his canine companions are getting more attention than he is, so a tolerant dog would make the best companion for him. Carson would also be content as the only pooch in the household, as long as he gets lots of opportunities for exercise and playtime. He loves fetching tennis balls, and would make a great workout buddy. Eager to learn and super smart, Carson already knows “sit” and quickly picks up new tricks.  He can be mouthy when excited, and doesn’t know his own strength, so a home with experienced adults who will set boundaries and use positive reinforcement would be perfect for Carson.

All Carson needs is a little encouragement and someone to point him in the right direction.

Will you give him a chance?
