Tessa (PAWS Name Snowy)

Hello, Tessa is doing GREAT. When she first came home she was flinchy and scared/threatened by other people/dogs and would bark and lunge at them. The last week of October I took her to a crowded farmer’s market in Logan Square and she was calm and did not seem to be bothered by all of the people or other dogs. She and I even play fetch on one of the large park areas on Logan Boulevard. She knows not to run into the street and loves the exercise that she can get off the leash. What a transformation. Now the only time she barks is when someone is at the door, a person who we both find threatening and (only sometimes) at another dog. Also, she was boarded when I was out of town and she bonded well with the owner of the facility and while she was standoffish the first day of “daycare” the second day she played with the other dogs.

She is very smart and learns so fast.  I am having black and white professional shots of me and Tessa taken by one of my clients right after Thanksgiving. I will send one of those to PAWs for the Holidays.  Attached is a pic of her taken about 3 weeks ago. Very happy dog.
