Dear PAWS:

Thanks for the six month follow-up on Shadow (PAWS name Cali). She’s doing just great. It took several months, but I think she’s finally starting to relax and realize that this is the “end of the road” for her…and that we are all in this for the long haul. She finished her obedience class back in July and we all passed with flying colors. She’s my walking buddy…we do six miles every day and then she comes home to chase birds in the backyard. She learned to love toys…particularly the squeaky kind. She never tires of playing with them and often plays with them by herself. She’s all border collie, but not at all high strung. We love her so much and hope she feels the same about us :)
