Princess (PAWS Name Meowy)

Hi PAWS!

Just wanted to send a quick update on Meowy. I took her in as a foster last September after seeing her pop up on the list of kitties that need a temporary foster home. I knew Meowy from my time volunteering in Kitty City and she was a sweetheart that just needed a little extra love and a break from the shelter. After the foster period ended, I decided to adopt Meowy. A couple months later, my mom, who is a caregiver for an elderly woman named Betty, started talking about how Betty was an animal lover and they were considering bringing an animal into the house. Meowy was a great candidate to keep Betty and my mom company and provide constant entertainment!

Meowy, renamed Princess by Betty, is incredibly happy in her new home! She now lives in a big ranch-style home that has tons of windows. Betty has birdfeeders all around the house and they leave nuts out on the windowsills for the squirrels, so there is always plenty of action outside the house. Princess is very intrigued with her outdoor friends and has even had some friendly play sessions with the squirrels, through the window of course. She is spoiled with the finest food and treats and she has even made friends with my mom’s two puppies who visit often! While I miss her, I know that she is in a safe home, loved and bringing a new sense of life to a longtime animal lover.. She ended up being a foster cat in our home after all, but now has found her happily ever after.

Attached a couple photos: Princess and one of her squirrel friends, Princess receiving a kitty massage from Betty, Betty napping and Princess close by looking out the window.

Thanks for everything you do to help these animals!
Sincerely,

Krysta and Princess’s new family Betty and Kathy
