Things are going great with my PAWS pup. I’ve named her Piper and she is full of life and energy and personality.

Piper’s an athletic little girl who is learning (slowly, but surely) not to pull on the leash. She loves to play with her toys and with other dogs, and has lots of fans around Roscoe Village. She loves sprinting around the dog park, and likes to turn the water bowl there into her own personal bath by using her two front paws to splash around. I’ve tried to break her of that habit, but I guess she just likes to cool herself off after running around. She’s also a fan of the dog beach and likes to play in the waves in Lake Michigan

She’s been a great addition to my life and hopefully I’ve been the same to hers. We’re having lots of fun and we have PAWS to thank for making sure she was the right pup for me and I was the right owner for her.
