Petunia (PAWS Name Conway)

Hi, We are all so very happy with our new kitty. Adopted as Conway we have changed her name to Petunia. It seems to fit her sweetness. She has been VERY patient with our 9 month old male cat Atticus. He has very bad manners and is a bit of a bully. He just has no experience with other cats. They are already licking each other if only for a minute or two before he starts to bite and play “man of the house.” Worry not, Petunia is no push over. She puts him in his place gently, but firmly. I have no doubt that in another month they will be good friends.

Petunia’s sweet face is the first thing I see in the morning. If I so much as crack an eye lid she starts meowing and walking all over us. Like I said, Petunia likes her food. We almost named her Velcro since she sticks to us all night in bed. She’s not crazy about being picked up, but she will lay next to you. If you move she goes with you. Once she’s up and has eaten she likes a little play time with the laser toy. Then bath time. Then some rough and tumble time with Atticus. After that it’s window time. We live in a garden apartment so the world is at her level. She spends most of her time sleeping or looking out the window from their 5 ft cat tree.

Petunia has completed our family and brought a lot of joy and humor to our home. I feel lucky we found each other. I want to thank PAWS for all that you did for Petunia and for all the other animals you assist and love! It is a very kind and gracious thing to give to an animal in need.

Thanks,
Christina, Angel, Atticus and Petunia
