Leroy

Hello!

Everything is going well with our new dog, Leroy.
Leroy was very, very quick to adjust to the pampered life in Hyde Park. Even though he is a Jack Russell Terrier mix and only a year old, Leroy is a very mellow little guy who has short bursts of energy great for during walks/jogs and playtime, but he really just loves chewing rawhide bones and napping. To our surprise (and delight), Leroy is fully housebroken and has learned many commands already– but he still has yet to master “sit” which continues to perplex since he is great at “freeze”ing in place. Leroy is not a fan of the lake, and sneezes in the sand, but he does enjoy leaping around in the grass and seeing how high he can jump for a toy during playtime. Leroy has one primary owner, Sonia (myself), but he loves Sonia’s roommates no less, and has been really great with visitors and around the neighborhood with people of all walks of life. Everyone loves how he doesn’t bark at people on walks and is very friendly. Leroy is still adjusting to other dogs, but hopefully will work on this even more in his obedience classes.

Thanks,

Sonia
