Juno

We recently adopted a shepherd mix whose name at that time was Gilda. She was labeled a purple teacher’s pet, and she was a teenage mom who had been weaned, spayed, and put out for adoption just days before we fell for her.

We’ve since named her “Juno” (the quintessential teen mom), and she is a very sharp puppy (she’s probably just under a year). We have recently discovered that she is housetrained, she can sit, give paw, lie down… and fly. If you’ve never seen a German shepherd fly across a room to land on a window ledge, let me tell you, Juno can do it. The strongest toy has nothing on this doggie, but she loves to play with us and her grandparents and the neighborhood kids. She also gives love by jumping right into your lap. No one seems to have told her that she’s 44 pounds. We love Juno.

Sincerely,
Jill and Rick Hallett (and Juno)
