Francis (PAWS name Tomah)

We changed her name from Tomah to Francis; it fits her a little better :) She’s been settling in well, though she was not doing so well on the Science Diet she had been eating so we weaned her off and put her on an all natural food without corn or fillers. She seems to be enjoying it so far.

Her energy level is still high and we’ve taken her everywhere from Waterfall Glen to the Montrose Dog Beach, and several festivals in Grant Park and around the city over the past couple months.

She’s also grown about 6 lbs. since we got her! At first, she was chewing on anything she could get ahold of, including our fingers, but we got her some excellent chew toys and with a little training, she’s been perfect. Leash training has also been going really well, and she knows sit, stay, lie down, give me your paw, and go lie down.

Here’s a pic, and thanks for checking up on us!
