Dear PAWS,
I would love to finalize Raindrop’s adoption. (We are calling her Clare and she already responds to the name as it is usually coupled with treat.)
During her first week here, Clare had a cold, but she took all her medication like an angel and perked back up pretty quickly. She also behaved very well during our vet’s visit. As a matter of fact, she seemed to strangely enjoy the ride in the carrier so much that we made it accessible for her as her respit. She takes naps in there from time to time.
She lives in our small bedroom for now, because we are slow and cautious about introducing her to her big brother, Tigger who still thinks he is an only child. But he is coming around. The two cats still occasionally hiss at each other but can spend quiet time in the same room. Our goal is have the door open at all time so that they can both freely roam around. For now it is supervised visitations. Clare’s room has other accommodations such as her favorite director’s chair and a cat tent and a shelf leveled at the window for her viewing pleasure.
Clare is adorable, sweat, friendly, and quite smart. She has a lovely way of tilting her head. She also has a real kitten-like enthusiasm when it comes to playing especially with balls. She always runs after the ball, usually catches it, and sometimes even kicks it back to us.
Sincerely,
Marta
