Amy (PAWS Name Ansley)

Amy our newest member of the family is doing very well. She is finally responding to her name and she has been a joy to watch when she interacts with our other dog Thor, Our cat is still having a bit of trouble with her cause Amy thinks she is a play toy (lol) but the cat is finally coming around and Amy knows if we tell her no she backs off from teasing the cat.  Amy is gaining weight as a normal puppy does and has lots of energy. She has lots of toys to play with and has found a few favorites. She has been to see our vet and is now on her heart worm meds since I was told she came from Oklahoma, One of her other favorite things to do is take rides in the car.  She has a nice calming affect on my other dog who usually  gets a bit too hyper when he goes for car rides. Thor and Amy have become the best of friends and each can hold their own when they are rough housing. We were beginning to wonder if the dog had a voice at all for awhile there lol but she finally found it and is very protective of the house. She also has discovered her tail and sometimes thinks it’s another animal so she likes to chase it. All in all she is a fine animal and listens very well.  We are teaching her some more commands and that is working out well. I will send a picture with this email so you can see how well adjusted she is. Our only issue is she thinks she is a goat and seems to find every stick and pebble that is in the yard so we are breaking her of that so she doesn’t run into issues with choking, Again things are working out very well she is coming into her own and she now is part of a big pack both animal and human.
