Meet Vivian!

Vivian is a lovely, 3-year-old Shepherd mix in search of a place to call home.  This sweetheart originally came to PAWS when she was transferred from a crowded shelter in Kentucky.  With her floppy ears and colorful coat, Vivian is a striking girl; but she also has a gorgeous personality!  Vivian gets along well with a lot of other dogs.  She has attended doggie daycare in the past and was the social butterfly of her play group!

Vivian would prefer to be the only dog in her forever home, but would love to take trips to the dog park or have play dates with other friendly pooches on neutral ground.  Vivian walks quite nicely on leash, almost never pulling.  This cool cucumber pays no attention to passing dogs, motorcycles, or strollers– she likes to sniff everything in sight and is a very relaxing walking partner.

Don’t be fooled though!  At times, Vivian has a lot of energy and really enjoys playing fetch.  She can even leap into the air and catch a tennis ball before it hits the ground!  She also loves frisbees and is hoping to find a similarly active adopter.  Vivian can be a bit anxious with strangers (particularly large men) who approach her too quickly, so she would be most comfortable in a home with dog-savvy adults who can introduce her to new friends slowly.

Will you give her the second chance she so deserves?
