I'm a Pit Pal! - Learn more about the Pit Pals

Marcy is a gorgeous brindle Shepherd-Terrier mix who would love to come home with you! She came to PAWS as a stray from Animal Control, and is ready and waiting to find her forever home. She has enormous ears, white socks on all her feet, and a unique stripe down her nose. At 45 lbs., Marcy is a medium-sized, short and stocky dog. If you don’t fall in love with Marcy’s cuteness, her personality will definitely win you over!

This 2-year-old has an active mind and is always on the go! She adores dog biscuits and will sit automatically, thumping her tail back and forth, when she sees that you have one for her. Marcy can entertain herself for hours if you give her a puzzle toy filled with food– allowing Marcy to use her smarts in everyday activities like feeding time will help to keep this clever pooch busy. A structured activity like agility or flyball would be an amazing way to exercise both Marcy’s body and brain. To get Marcy to relax, all you have to do is rub her belly and she will melt into a puddle at your feet. She loves people and is not shy at all when it comes to meeting new friends. Because Marcy doesn’t always like to share her toys, she would be happiest in an adoptive home with just adults at this point in her life.

Marcy is super excited and enthusiastic about starting the next chapter of her life as part of a real family. Will you make Marcy’s dreams come true?
