“There was a farmer who had a dog and Bingo was his name-o!”

No one knows who this Lab-Hound mix’s original owner was, but he did come to PAWS from the farm fields of rural Oklahoma. Bingo was missing an ear and had bb gun pellets lodged in his thigh when he arrived at the PAWS Rescue and Recovery Center. PAWS vets were able to remove the pellets and also neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped him for identification. Although he only has one ear, Bingo is in great health and has normal hearing. Now all he needs to start his new life in Chicago is a loving family!

This social 1-year-old loves people and other dogs– he and his doggie roommate love to romp and play on the rooftop deck of the PAWS Chicago Adoption Center. He is excited about life and thinks everything is fun and interesting! Bingo seems to be house-trained when given regular walks, and thrives with plenty of exercise and playtime. Like a lot of hounds, Bingo can be vocal when he gets excited, and needs some guidance with his leash-training. His curious nose causes him to wander sometimes, so Bingo (like all dogs) should be supervised outside.

This sweet, enthusiastic guy will make the perfect family pet for a loving household. Will you rescue him?
