Are you looking for a new best friend? Meet Snowball! Snowball is a lovable five year old girl who would love to find her ‘furever’ home. This orange and white beauty was adopted last summer, but found herself back at PAWS because she wasn’t fond of travelling with her owner and spending time with other pets. Snowball recently returned to PAWS after a two month stay with a foster mom, where she was able to relax and enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle of the adoption center.

Snowball is friendly and affectionate, and greets new visitors to her room at PAWS with a few cheerful chirps and head butts. Her foster mom said that Snowball kept up this behavior at home too, and greeted her with a friendly meow each day when she returned home from work! She also enjoyed meeting new people, and welcomed visitors to the home with open arms…. errrrr…. paws, that is. 

Her previous owner reported that Snowball was very active and curious, especially at night, and her foster mom said that she responded very well to a schedule that included daily playtime. Favorite toys include the laser pointer, feather wands, cat tunnels, and brown paper grocery bags. Snowball’s foster mom also said she absolutely LOVES to play chase with her human friends, and would initiate playtime by creeping up on her owner and then dashing away—only to come back and do it again and again! Snowball was also able to entertain herself while her foster mom was gone during the workday, and used her scratching post very well—she even allowed her foster mom to clip her nails after she became more comfortable in the home. What a good girl!

After burning off all that extra energy during playtime, Snowball loved to cuddle with her foster mom while watching TV in the evenings, before snoozing the night away at the foot of her bed. Snowball needs a quiet home where she can receive the playtime, attention, and affection she needs in order for her sweet personality to flourish. She also does not like other pets, so she needs a home where there are no other cats, and definitely no dogs! So if you are looking for a kitty who wants you all to herself, give Snowball a chance!
