James is a shy three year old male who can’t WAIT to find a permanent home! This sweet, white and orange kitty recently arrived at PAWS, and while he is happy to be safe and warm, he is a little overwhelmed with all the commotion here at the shelter— so many new sights, sounds, and smells all at once can be scary! James is a timid, gentle kitty who will need his new owners to be patient with him, as it may take him a little time to adjust to his new surroundings. He would love a quiet home without young children where he will feel comfortable enough to come out of his shell.
James recently spent time in a foster home and his foster mom said that he was a sweet guy and she enjoyed having him in her home. It did take some time (about two weeks) for him to become comfortable in the home but by the last couple of days, he sat next to his foster mom on the couch and wanted to be petted. This sweet boy also likes to play with stuffed catnip toys and hopes that his new family will have some on hand for him to play with in his new home! James is fine with other cats but is more laid back and doesn’t typically play with other cats. His foster mom said he is also fine with dogs and pretty much ignored the dog; when her dog would bark at him, James would “just give him this look as if he were crazy and should stop.”
James is a lovable kitty who would like nothing more than a quiet home where he can feel safe and loved. In return, he promises to bring his adopters a lifetime of happiness as his sweet ‘purrsonality’ continues to develop and flourish.
Can you give James the home he is dreaming of?
