Cali

Breed: DSH

Gender: Female

Age: 8 years

Claws: Yes

It’s hard to believe this beautiful Calico once lived on the harsh Chicago streets. This eight-year-old beauty now loves spending her days sleeping on laps, being groomed with a brush and loves attention.

As a calico, she can be finicky of the feline friends she chooses – she’d do best in a home without other kitties or perhaps another young, submissive male. She was adopted out for two years and returned when she didn’t get along with a new kitty the former adopters adopted. Sometimes two females in the home can be too much for Calicos! Their new cat was adopted from a kill shelter and so to save both lives, they made the difficult decision of returning Cali back to PAWS Chicago.

What is their loss is our gain because Cali is the sweetest, gentlest cat you’ll ever meet! Her favorite thing is to play with plastic bags – laser lights or cat toys don’t fool this smart cookie! This inquisitive little girl also loves to be in the action – whether it’s window watching or greeting you at the door!

Adopted this gorgeous girl and she’ll be cuddling with you tonight!
