Additional Notes: Salem is a 6-yr old front-declaw that was relinquished to us when his owner could no longer care for him. As a more mature fellow, Salem continues to get passed over by potential adopters when they catch a glance at the younger kittens here at the shelter. Salem feels that although the younger cats have lots of spunk, he brings wisdom and experience to the table. He promises that if someone will give him another chance at a forever home, that he will provide companionship and lots of love to his new owner. One of Salem's favorite activities is curling up on the couch with his human companions for a long nap!
