If you are interested in Nigel please visit our Cat Adoption Center located at 2337 North Clark Street in Chicago. The Cat Adoption Center hours are Monday-Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Additional Information:  Nigel is PAWS Chicago's miracle cat.  He was rescued from Animal Care and Control after he was picked up as a stray.  He was diagnosed with distemper shortly after his arrival.  He was so sick that he had to hospitalized for several days.  His good friend Smeagol helped to save his life by graciously donating his blood when Nigel needed a blood transfusion.  When Nigel was healthy enough to come back he had round the clock care.  The staff gave him plenty of TLC and took excellent care of him.  He is now happy and healthy.  He is playful and looking for the next big adventure.
