The mission of the PAWS Chicago Professional Board is to raise funds, via a variety of fundraising events, which will help support PAWS Chicago’s programs — The Lurie Spay/Neuter Clinic, innovative adoption and humane education/community outreach programs.
As a Professional Board member you will play an integral part in the planning of the many exciting fundraising events, which have a direct impact on helping save lives of thousands of homeless cats and dogs in Chicago.
Professional Board Membership
A place on the Professional Board is open to anyone who wants to join and can fulfill the following two membership requirements:
Payment of Membership Dues – Professional Board members are required to pay $75 in membership dues per calendar year. Please CLICK HERE to pay membership dues online.
Attendance at Professional Board Meetings – All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center. Members are asked to attend two out of four meetings per calendar year:
- Thursday, January 14
- Tuesday, June 15
- Wednesday, September 8
- Tuesday, December 7
Additionally, we offer two evenings for the Professional Board to volunteer and socialize at the Adoption & Humane Center. All volunteer and socializing evenings will begin at 6:30 p.m.

- Thursday, August 12
