PAWS Chicago Animals in Need of Foster Homes

Puppies
Foster Period: 2-4 weeks
Needs: We always expect to need foster homes for undersized and under aged puppies. This means that the puppies are too little and too young to be spayed and neutered and are not ready for adoption. If you can house 2-3 puppies during this time and help them put on weight that would be doing us a tremendous favor. Plus, you get to play and take care of puppies who are a lot of fun!

If you are currently an approved foster parent and are interested in/want more information on fostering puppies please fill out the Foster Care Application online or call 773-475-9462.

Kittens

If you can house 2-3 kittens during this time and help them put on weight (kittens can eat as much as they want!), that would be doing us a tremendous favor. Plus, you get to play and take care of wee kitties who are a lot of fun!

Nursing Mom & Kittens
Foster Period: 6-8 weeks
Needs: Caring for Mamma cat while she is nursing kittens
We are currently looking for a foster home for a nursing mother and her kittens.  The foster home would have to be able to commit to a 6-8 week un-interrupted foster.  The mother cat does most of the work, but the foster home would need to have a schedule that would allow the them to check in on the cats during the day.

If you are currently an approved foster parent and are interested in/want more information on fostering a Mom with nursing kittens please fill out the Foster Care Application online or
