Sandy's Story

There's a reason that Sandy is a staff and volunteer favorite at PAWS - she's practically perfect in every way! Her ideal day: spending the morning snuggled close to her family on the couch. Her former foster parent described her as the perfect foot warmer! Next up - a long walk through the park (she loves sporting winter accessories as the temperatures drop down in Chicago!) She'd wind the day down with some of her favorite activities: dinner in a puzzle feeder and showing off her tricks with her person!

Trying out new things or meeting new people can be tough for anyone, and sweet Sandy looks to her humans for extra encouragement when starting a new adventure. Sandy's perfect match will give her time to adjust to new experiences - and lots of cuddles along the way!

Meet Sandy

Sandy can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
